A regular member is a clinical or non-clinical graduate of an institute approved by the American Psychoanalytic Association for the education of psychoanalysis, or is a clinical or non-clinical graduate of a training facility approved by the International Psychoanalytic Association. A clinical graduate is defined as an individual who has completed the didactic and clinical sections of an educational program in an institute approved by the American Psychoanalytic Association or by the International Psychoanalytic Association and has graduated from such an institution. A non-clinical graduate is defined as an individual who has completed only the didactic portion of a psychoanalytic training program in an accredited institution identified above.
